Orienteering (British Middle) 19:33 [5] 2.8 km (6:59 / km)

No. 1 didn't count the ditch before, lost time. No.4 was a bit hesitant. No.6 lost me the race, wandered way off my bearing and couldn't work out the veg. No.7 again wandered off my bearing, not as bad though.

Orienteering race (British Sprint heat.) 14:43 [5] 2.0 km (7:22 / km)

A little hesitation throughout, particulaly at no. 2, otherwise fine. Felt tired, and didn't think i was going quick enough, but i was.
3 PM

Orienteering (British Sprint final.) 15:10 [5] 2.0 km (7:35 / km)

Fine until no. 3, where i didn't count the alleys and lost half a minute. Better till no. 8 where I thought the control was on the other side of the building and lostg at least half a minute.

Wednesday Apr 6, 2011 #

Running 20:00 [3] 4.0 km (5:00 / km)

Went out for a steady jog, but ended up going quicker than expected.

Sunday Apr 3, 2011 #

Orienteering race 25:31 [4] 3.0 km (8:30 / km)

Short course, to get speed back into my legs. Didn't feel to fast, hopefully because of yesterday. No errors.

Orienteering 13:00 [4] 2.3 km (5:39 / km)

SCOA sprint training at Reading University. First sprint i've done in ages, took a while to get used to the detail required. Legs felt fine.

Orienteering 5:00 [4] 1.6 km (3:07 / km)

SCOA sprint training at Reading University. Shorter control pick exercise. Good flow, felt fine.

Orienteering 3:30 [4] 0.9 km (3:53 / km)

SCOA sprint training at Reading University. Tiny control pick exercise, being shadowed by Craig, which made me run much quicker. Felt good to be able to go quick and take a look at the map.

Orienteering 13:00 [4] 2.3 km (5:39 / km)

SCOA sprint training at Reading University. Course with less controls, longer legs. Starting to feel tired.

Orienteering 6:00 [4] 1.2 km (5:00 / km)

SCOA sprint training at Reading University. Short course, going slowly because warm down / felt very tired. Did alternate legs with Jamie.
1 PM

Orienteering 15:00 [3] 2.6 km (5:46 / km)

SCOA sprint training at Reading University. Map memory. There was a question at each control, with three different options as answers. There was also a mini-map and on it was three different legs for each answer. If you answered correctly you went to the correct contrl, but you had to meomrise where to go. Just after lunch, so got a bad stitch which meant i ran very slowly.
