Vinyasa Flow Yoga class with Nico at 8 in the morning. Some very challenging poses as usually. This Saturday morning class is becoming tradition for me. It took me a while to wake up today.

Fun orienteering in the surroundings of the O house. First year of Skinkaloppet in Vancouver, I hope that it will happen every year before Christmas. The map was not always corresponding to the reality and we got stuck at the train track. I did not guess my time right, but it was not too wrong and without the train track it would be almost right on. Easy running.

I felt a bit sick on Wednesday and Thursday, so I took a few rest days. But now I feel o.k. again.

Pilates advanced with Nico. It felt very good today, I did all level three versions of exercises. He keeps going without any break for an hour and then he allows 10 seconds break before some more exercises on top of it. I like push-ups a la pilates.... My core feels pretty strong after 42 hours of core strength in November.
No time for running today.

Explore Run/Jog on the trails close to Cleveland Dam in the dark and rain. Not very pleasant conditions, very dark, I did not see anything but kept running some tiny trails trying to keep up to Magnus and Lila. It will become a new map. I don't think it is very suitable for a night WET.

Trail run with Magnus and Lila. We ran over Suspension bridge up to Rice Lake and up the hill towards Lynn Peak to connect to the higher part of the Lynn loop and then back following Lynn Creek. Very muddy, some steep difficult rocky-rooty parts of the trail. Down at the creek I tried to keep fast speed for a bit, the pace of 4 min for km and even less for probably 1.5 km. Magnus thinks that now when he is the "coach", I will listen to his advice and run as fast as I can.... + 1 interval -stairs at the Twin Falls.

Yin Yoga as a celebration of finishing 30 day yoga challenge. It was actually my 31st class this month. Great. Great potluck and evening in the studio after that. 50 people did the challenge. Everyone feels better than before. None of us is allowed to come tomorrow to the studio. We have to take a day off.
I will wash my very sweaty and dirty yoga mat and continue on Tuesday.
