Four intervals with longer legs, did them mass start and the pack split up a lot anyway. Relatively pleased, will write more when I take a gander at the GPS.
First interval, planned to go lower down the hill but rejoined the group because my approach was bad, spiked the third one very happily.
Second interval, very pleased with my route on the long leg, feel the line was good and my speed was good.
Third interval, attempted the high route to 1, which worked well to be fair, I should've gone down on the far side of the fence and maybe I could have won that leg like that. Only issue is I lost me head with all that extra climb and spooned both 2 and 3. Don't think the route is the problem, I think the issue is lazy thinking and not putting in the extra effort to flesh out the rest of the interval. Another wee banana to 4 and just tacked onto Flurry for the rest.
Fourth interval, I saw them head for the medium green and assumed they would navigate up the hill. I thought the left road was safer and had a good approach so I went for it. What I failed to realize is the right road is closer to the line, less climb, and still a good approach, which added up to a big L on the leg. The decision not to go straight was correct, but not gathering all the information to make the right decision there. Rest of the controls went quite smoothly.
