Hiking 2:20:00 [3] 4.5 km (31:07 / km) +330m 22:46 / km
shoes: Kalenji XT7 Nov2020

Got permission to drive to the Greek Church and park there. A chilled walk with the kids! Jock and his family and Francois and his family joined us. It was more about the kids getting to the top of the mountain. Up the Greek Church/ Vulture trail pass, condensed milk coffee at the lonely tree, and back down. Lekker! Cool and overcast which made it easier. Would have been tougher in the heat. The kids did well!

Day 1 of 3 day hikes in the Magaliesberg! First up at Maretlwane. Got invited by friends from Hartebeespoort. Group of 11 of us. Chilled walk up the Jeep track from the main camp to the Maretlwane waterfalls. Chilled and swam, then wandered back. Lekker day out.

Trail Run race (B'sorah night run race) 38:29 [5] 7.6 km (5:04 / km) +155m 4:36 / km
shoes: Kalenji XT7 Nov2020

Night race at B'sorah, organized by Dirt Runners. 5 and 8k options. Very low attendance, but you have to start somewhere! The normal 8k trail route. I wanted to test the legs, so pushed the pace. Felt pretty good, but the legs burnt up the last hill about 1k from the finish. The poplar forest is awesome at night, but it was slow going. Good to push hard again.
