New Chew with Zanthe, really rough under foot, harder than the trial by some way!
Felt horrendous as lungs hate me a bit but was really good fun! deffinately cleared them a bit today!
After we finished we worked out the optimum route but don't think we lost too much the way we went, last climb was a beast in view of the finish which was just enough for jelly legs sprint to the finish!
Bonus was we won 1st women woop cheese and chutney :-D

Noon stones fell race - set off really well, could see Zanthe until just after the monument, but payed for it across the bog as my lungs weren't working too well so lactic acid levels were ridiculous for how fast I was going!Thats the only reason its effort 4. Felt much better than last year however even though I'm still a bit bunged up woop woop, it wasn't all in my head, I was slower!
3 mins faster than last year, bring on clear airways and half tour of pendle....oh and the little matter of New Chew tomorrow :-D

Ride with Zanthe out to ringinglow road and back via fullwood - zanthe's brakes were playing up so she used my mountain bike so nice and steady ride

Run down to accelerate with Zanthe - really friendly in there, think i might spend lots of money on sleeping bags and tents etc if I'm not careful!

Run back from accelerate after tea - lungs managed everything else but started to suffer on the hills - will see how they are but may be a spectator for noonstones....but i really want to run it.
Removed a fair bit of gunk from the lungs today so hopefully will get fully fixed soon

Note

Felt better this afternoon until i walked around outside a bit - that made me decide that circuits was a silly silly plan...enforced rest until I stop wheeze coughing I think
