Corn Hill festival. Semi-rained out, but we hung in there for a while at least. We even bought a couple of more items than we usually do, possibly because we had sympathy for the poor vendors.

Powder Mills "Sprint" (actually not much of a sprint).

I thought I was doing pretty bad -- I didn't feel like I was moving fast most of the time, especially off trail, and I didn't feel I had much in the way of "flow". It wasn't helped that I neglected to put on my bifocals so I was having more trouble than usual reading the map. So I was very surprised to find that I finished pretty respectfully, something like 4th or 5th I believe. Way behind the winner (Zach L., 24 minutes) but not too far behind 2nd or 3rd place.

Course was pretty clearly way longer than a sprint would normally be, especially for a forest-type sprint which will typically be slower per km than an urban/campus type sprint.
