rollerblade 44:00 [2] 13.0 km (3:23 / km)

slept in and got a late start today (9am), there were people everywhere! sometimes I forget how much nicer this city is at 5am. I turned around even before I got down to Venice, then went up to the long north parking lot where the mobs were thinner and did a few sprints.

roller ski 51:00 [3] 13.4 km (3:48 / km)
shoes: v2s #1

Got a late start anyway this morning, then found I had a flat tire on one of the skis (left front). Don't remember if it was the same wheel as a few weeks ago. Didn't feel like changing the tube, so I just threw on the spare wheel and left (then spent the next hour fighting a very misaligned left ski).
Felt really good all the way through, but it was late so traffic was getting bad towards the end, so I told myself if I kept the last one under 5:40 I didn't have to do a 5th lap. That seemed to work out ok, as thats definitely the fasted dp hill I've done yet.

mtn bike 2:00:00 [3]

I've hiked most of the nearby interesting peaks on the socal hundred peaks list, a lot of the rest are either far away or only 1/4 mile off the fire roads. So rather than totally cop out and drive up to the summits, I left the car on the highway and rode the mt bike up. Definitely less boring than hiking, especially when its this hot. Got up Pacifico Mt (7k), Roundtop (6k), and Granite Mt (6k). The last of which I actually had to hike up the last 1/2 mile, which was harder than it sounds, especially after riding up 3000' of very sandy fire road. Going down was a trip though.
