palisades -> santa ynez canyon loop. I was dragging a little bit on the first half (the 1500' climb half), but after I rolled over the top of the ridge and dropped into the shade in the canyon things got quite a bit better. and a bit more downhill.

Skate laps! First hard skating since about April. This was a good workout (those are really fast times, 4:45 used to be "fast" for a skate lap), all that dp I've been doing must have been good for something.
