It was about 20' and raining so I couldn't resist escaping work and study;

around the base of black mountain then up the Little Black Mountain summit track, then back around the loop track and down to the aqueduct and csiro.
A nice easy jog and stops for the views.

took it easy.

around the peninsular then up the woodlands fire trail and the single track to the summit then down the summit trail to the top of the gardens and around the gardens track back to uni.

sorry haven't been training much as of this week.
have been doing a minimum of 4 hours a day of rehearsals for the production...

wasn't going to go out to the event today for this reason; but got a call from Matt Parton and his lady caller if they could get a lift with me. so I decided it would be a good break.

Turns out the map was older than any of us.
Wasn't missing much detail, maybe a few of the cherry trees were a bit drought effected; otherwise was a very pleasant run; took it easy but still made a few errors. reminded me very much of Bunjil Bunjil (Little Forest).

despite the relative vaguity of the terrain, the course setter still managed almost 5% climb.
Was happy I didn't tire on any hills until the last significant one which was about 15 contours straight up?

Good to see Blair returning to his roots.

We retired to Cafe Essen ala acejase after the race. not too fond of their crepes; although the salads and curry generally go well.

was feeling very dead in my lecture; and was almost convincing myself not to go out to the event.
Rode out there (Red Hill) against the wind.
got to the event and still wasn't feeling enthusiastic. then Liam turned up.
I couldn't lose to him so ended up about 4.5min km (forgot my gps);
6 out of 10 were completely uphill legs.
Liam gave me a lift back to college.
