Another outing with Val. I'm happy she's training for Endless Mountains because it means a buddy for some longer adventures. Used poles and carried a full pack with water, clothes, and extra shoes because I wasn't sure what to expect in the woods.


The trails were pretty hazardous, and I had a hard time convincing my brain to convince my ankle that it was okay to run for extended periods. Tightening my shoes helped, but this was definitely more fast pack than run.
