Running 2:25:00 [5] 20.2 km (7:11 / km)

Paul wanted me to run with Greg at a 6min/km pace. Here's the problem with this:
1. I never ran that long of a distance at that fast of a pace. It was unchartted territory.
2. Paul is on drugs to think that I could hang with Greg
3. His advice of running right behind him worked for about 4K. Greg was running at a 6min/Km right of the bat. By the time I got to Dixie and Finch I was done.

Right after the run I my body was frozen solid. Don't know why but I was cold. Once I got 2 of my 5 senses back I was able to appreciate what I did. I felt great. The body felt nice and went on with my day. At around 7p-8p I was nothing but pure pain. My guess was that all my senses were back by then. There's places that were in pain I never knew it was possible. Everything that I should've felt after the race came in the evening. One thing I know for sure, I'm no longer heel striking. I got the blisters to prove it. Overall it was nice that I was able to do it. I would've done it differently if it was up to me (PAUL) but at least I can say I ran the distance.

Running 29:18 [4] 5.01 km (5:51 / km)

Tempo run from Finch/Valley Farm Seaton Trail parking lot and back. Feet were hurting because of the new shoes. Caught myself heel striking a bit more than the usual. I'm not gonna lie, It did felt good catching up to everyone. There is not one part of my body that is not in pain right now. If Paul thinks this will be the pace for Ottawa he needs to lay off them drugs. lol
