Note

First day since early August I don't feel crappy and exhausted. About time!

Trail running (Little Woods 1, 3, xc) 57:08 [2] 3.8 mi (15:02 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia 10

Run #2 that ended in the dark with no headlamp. This time it was my fault. I'd intended a 30ish min. run, 15 min out/15 min back but then decided I wanted to get an idea of how long the trail 3 loop is since I'm contemplating it for my 100 Miles of Nowhere course. (Trail 3 is 2 miles long, if you're curious).

Running felt meh with dashes of awesome and frequent amounts of walking.

Biking (Bangert back to CCL) 1:46:54 [3] 21.1 mi (11.8 mph) +378ft
shoes: Airborne Delta CX

Post lunch rode part of the "secret trails" on past St. Charles downtown but the second section was all chopped up and soft mud, so we bailed and headed back toward Bangert. I had a flat, so after changing that we rode the rest of the Bangert loop clockwise, back onto Katy, back across bridge, back to Creve Coeur lake past the soccer fields, up the service road, and took the singletrack back to the cars.

Super fun day on bikes. Gorgeous weather.
10 AM

Biking (CCL trails to Bangert ) 2:17:45 [3] 21.4 mi (9.3 mph) +794ft
shoes: Airborne Delta CX

Cross bikes while my MTB components are being switched over to my new frame.

Rode CCL trails, a couple tries at that stupid uphill switchback. Missing some MTB confidence riding the cross bike on singletrack, but it was fun. After a loop and a half or so on the trails we rode the service road down, partially around the lake, and crossed the bridge to the Katy and Bangert.

Bangert ride was interrupted by helping track down an injured rider, then walking his bike out to the front. Rode a Bangert loop then headed to 5 Guys for lunch.
