Training took a bit of a back-seat over the last few days - off up to friends in the north of england. Can't claim helping at a kids birthday party as training - but a walk up at Malham Cove on Sunday with my parents can go in, was walking for about 3hrs, but i'll just put half down!!

warm up and down for track session.
Including lots of drills - training with middle distance group, so felt hopeless on the drills in comparison!

Running intervals 24:00 [5] 4.0 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: Nike zoom racing flats

Although with the middle distance group, most of them were doing 60m sprints due to racing at the weekend, so was a bit of a lonely session, a lot of recovery - 3-4mins between each rep.

reps probably a bit long - as they can't work out the start point properly! but will leave the times as is.

Generally running 70 second first laps and then slowing
On the last rep one of the guys joined in and led from 400-800, keeping the pace high - and kicking in at the end gave a nice time!
Lots of lactic and wanted to be sick - intervals done hard!
And have to work on arms - as there all over the place - apparantly...

Meant to be *4 but only managed 3 sets and then the first 400. 200s were slow floats.

should have been running them all in 72-74 to do the full set. was very windy, but still ... Average time for each of the full mile reps was 5.32.
