You went through the circle on EP. Maybe the post is having issues. I will check it out sometime. Or if the hike due south of RW was as bad as last time I went through that green you could be drained and frustrated!
Huh, interesting that I hit the top part of RW, then went crazy the wrong way. I couldn't understand why I didn't hit it. It was full of brush, and I did slow waaaay down. I really wanted to stay off trails, and straight line as much as possible, and be one with the compass. :) When I got off track for RW, I got to that trail that comes west, and realize I was a hop skip and a jump from QW. Then I thought it would give me another attack on RW...then I saw the rocks and did a happy dance. Then I thought I had just enough time to get EP, PI and EJ. I went straight to PI and was so frustrated that I missed EP. By then, had to boogie. Feeling not as bad. Trusted my compass more. Need to be faster. And stronger. But something cool happened. I have been doing zillions of push ups. I fell from tripping on a vine, and landed on my hands, and felt strong. Well, I'm sold. Pushups forever.
That's awesome, nice catch.
Ah, just trying to get better...so the races will be more fun. Thanks for all your help! This analysis, albeit humbling, helps to analyze what I am doing wrong, and right and build from there. Adventure racing is humbling.
