Doing an experiment with bumble bees- catch, cool in a.n ice chest so they move slowly, take a photo, then glue little numbered tags on their backs so we can tell them apart and follow them while they forage. It's a lot of fun.

By "follow them", do you mean that you just encounter them at discrete times?

When we see them again we watch and record which flowers they visit, how far and what direction they move, and so forth. We alo record which days we see them to see how long they stay in an area (or how long they live).
