Note

Another rest day. Weather didn't seem conducive to enjoyable orienteering... (sorry, George and Lyn).

I did spend my day constructively, however, sorting out my quilting corner (or part of it) enough to find a project bag I was looking for. Now to finish organizing the fabric I unearthed.

Elliptical at the Y. Started out with one program (XC) but it was brutal, so switched over to cross training (alternating forward and backward pedaling) and continued with that for 30 min.

I would have done longer, but I wanted to see how running on the treadmill felt (for a tempo run).

Cool down on the elliptical, slower speed.

Speed felt okay, but my ankle hurt (just above where the bone sticks out, left side of left ankle) so I didn't do more than 1/2 mile. (Set at 5.8 mph)

Note

No exercise today (it's my "usual" day off due to other scheduled things, though the meeting in Chatham fell through).

On another note, I heard yesterday about a recent New Yorker cover about Obama "vetting" pet choices and thought the idea was funny. :-)

In Chatham. Left ankle and knee complained a little, but not enough to stop.

Class in Chatham. Back to no risers on the step because I could sense my knee wouldn't like riser, and it was fine. Nice, large class too (which is good for Jen but not necessarily for the claustrophobics among us). :-)
