Now that sounds like a delightful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Not when you could have had a delightful play in the snow. Missed you guys.
Sorry we didn't make it, but remember, I did ask you to arrange better weather. :-) (Yeah, I know, that's not your department...)
Peggy -- it was fun unearthing projects I hadn't seen in awhile, that I have to keep reminding myself to finish; and I actually tossed out a few things (not quilt related -- like old clothing patterns that I had made, some dating back to the 70's!, and some crewel work I had done pre-quilting that's stained or damaged or will otherwise not be attractive to anyone). And the fabric is better organized than it was before I started digging -- just wish it would stay that way for awhile!
The weather was fine. In fact we probably got the best part of the day - perhaps the week. It sure got colder and windier later on and we were very glad to be sitting around a glass of pinot noir about then.
Well, George, both endeavors are enjoyable. If you can't do one, you should do the other -- at least, that's my way of thinking.
(George may just be jealous of your stash.)
