High Peak Relay - 8th leg. Feeling decidedly hung over after B&P's leaving do at the pub.

Felt ok running but rubbish for the rest of the day.

Running 1:30:00 [3] 14.5 km (6:12 / km)

Run with the boys on t moor. Baker record - we beat Craney et al to the car park by 45 minutes.

Bryn's last run for a while in the peaks but at least it was a good one.

Running 16:00 [2] 2.0 mi (8:00 / mi)

Steady run to work - bit stiff (combo of circuits and track).

Running 55:00 intensity: (40:00 @3) + (15:00 @5) 8.0 mi (6:52 / mi)

Left work too late for HH. Did 6 x 90s with 60s recovery up Stannington (with 60s jog down hill). Then did 2 x 60s downhill and finished with 6 x 15sec hill sprints. Fun stuff - good to see all the fire works from up in Stannington.

Easy run to work

Run to club night and then home again with OJ dreaming about getting strong and fast.

Cross training (Circuits / Drills) 30:00 [1]

Drills and circuits at the club night. Good turn out and fun exercises led by SV. Didn't realise quite how uncoordinated orienteers were -good job the TV cameras missed the drills otherwise it could have been embarrasing.

Tuesday Nov 3, 2009 #

Run to track, some more laps with Mike (just like old times) and then some strides and then home (with Mike and Rich). Felt ok on the run home till the last mile then the wheels started to come off.

Running intervals 30:00 [5] 4.0 mi (7:30 / mi)

Back to track - first time in about 8ish months. Rich G setting the early pace on the first few (and the last). 10 x 2.00m with 1 min recovery. Felt ok, going through 400m in 74 - 69.

Monday Nov 2, 2009 #

Run to work and then run home again. Was going to go to the gym but couldn't be arsed (not properly back in training yet - well at least that is what I told myself).
