hanging 3 streamers for training all on top of Blue Mountain, raining and warm, spent a least 4-5 min. on each location, just to find a spot in the woods where I could read the map, and get the mental image of he terrain in my mind.

Ran Blue TT-2011 middle course at Blue Mountain.
it is difficult to orienteer when I can not read the map in the woods - too dark, the result is ~ 10-12 min. lost just wondering in the woods trying to find bright spot to see the map., I was never more then 50 m away from control, just did not have the picture what to look for. Running felt good, a little slippery on rocks and down hills.
