Cycling long 3:16:00 [3] 79.0 km (24.2 kph) +1100m

Long ride today!

We started at bridge as usual and headed up hill past bristol golf course. Then round the perimeter of bristol airport.
The next hill was up through Shipham, then we descended to the start of Cheddar Gorge. The climb had been built up and it really wasn't as difficult as everyone had made it out to be. The first bit was pretty steep (10% apparently) then it gradually levels off to about 1-2% where me and mat were flying across the plateau at the top.
The last climb (other than Ashton Court) was Nempnett Thrubwell. After we made our way home by usual routes.

An all round good hilly ride. Me, Mat + Georgie went to Sainsbury's since we'd missed lunch... that was interesting taking bag back up hill!!

Hit 2000km on Focus Cayo 105!! It probably needs a bit of tweaking actually. The chain struggles to get into big ring without flying off.
