Short warm up, then about 5mins into game some people with 2 kids came, and the kids were running/cycling around the court, which was really off putting and nearly twated one of them. Anyways, same result of game :( lost 6-0. First 3 games were shit, but after that I got waay better. We were gonna play a few more sets but hate it when other people are there.

(The route I did last week) From Home, to HC then Goostrey, Over Peover and back along A50 following a few other cyclists and keeping up, but not bothered about overtaking cos would've looked an idiot if I burnt out :/ I was in two minds about whether to add the 10kish loop onto the end, but the head wind on the last bit down town field lane was horrible, so i just packed it in.
Other parts the wind came in gusts and felt like I was going to fall off!

Went to play tennis, but Peter + Phil were there... lol! We had to play on the crappy court and were waiting for them to go, but they were taking forever so we just left and went to blockbusters instead :D

Note

Had car all day so made the most of it by only being at home for about an hour between 8am and 5pm! Also no exam today or for the next week. Was going to go for a cycle on roads when we got back, but had dominos as a substitute :D

First time really going off road on decent bike. Went with mike and "borrowed" his dad's bike. Tried a few little jumps, and fell off 3 or 4 times, usually cos of stupid little things, but nothing serious and was pretty fun :D

Smacked 100 balls at driving range. I'd say about 75% went straight which is pretty sound, but mainly messed up when I tried to hit far too hard! Also practiced putting on the practice green, and that went surprisingly well too! Need a round sometime soon!

Grrr faster time today than on triathlon :( Just felt like some exercise after biology exam this morning... couldn't have gone much worse :/

A partial new route though! From home to HC, then down into Goostrey, out towards Over Peover, and back along the A50 which was actually okay. I've avoided it in the past cos I thought it'd be too fast.

The pool was outdoors, and moderately cool which was really refreshing since the temp was about 27C!!

6x30m. Overtook a few people in pool... lol :D

Transition was quite good, but getting socks on was a pain.

Cycling race (Triathlon) 45:00 [5] 20.0 km (26.7 kph)

More ups and downs than I'm used to (need to work on that), but apart from that, it went really well! Over took 30-40 people, and I think 6 overtook me, but all had decent road bikes and looked pretty damn awesome, so meh, good result.

Weirdly I didn't feel much effect of the jelly legs from the bike. Transition was stupid cos bike didn't fit under the bar and I looked a right prat, seemed to take ages, but it was probably just a second haha.
Drank a few too many times in the last 1k of cycle, and had that sloshing around which made me feel sick, and couldn't get to the speed I wanted straight away. Shook it off halfway through first lap, and stormed past loads of people.

Running = strong point :D <- really wish I hadn't drank in that last k, since I really wanted to beat 1301... almost! :)

Over all, far too hot, but really good fun.

As far as tennis goes, by saying "today wasn't particularly strenuous" would be a major understatement! Played a bit with Euan and Jake, then with Emily against Charlie and Peggy. Which we won blates :P

800m ... legs died with 200 to go, but didn't warm up much at all and was on my own :( running club wasn't on...

Last week did 400m in 72secs, so hough said he thought I'd be able to do 800 in 2:24... didn't quite go to plan, with the first lap about 79, and the following 83.

Helping on Bronze D of E from Tegg's Nose to Gradbach. Mainly in the car, which got scraped on a bridge when I was driving to an "emergency" which turned out to be a hoax as well!!
When at Checkpoint 5 we had to wait for ages, so we walked up the route till we found the first group, and walked back to the checkpoint with them... after that everything went pearshaped and the next 5 groups got lost :/

Set alarm for 6:30am, and was planning to go for a jog, but even though I got up I really couldn't face it...
Then planned to make up for it with a swim after school, which I didn't bother doing either. Need someone to do this stuff with cos its the starting that I find really hard. Anyway, almost surprise rugby at lunch, and walking in Peak District tomorrow looking after ickle Bronze DofErs

With school, just me, bez, aids, hough and gerk twins. about 5 decent laps of track followed by 2 warm down laps. + some pace work in the middle, and then afterwards on the 100m stretch. Overall loosened out the legs, but didn't really feel like enough of a work out.

Usual loop, and I think my fastest time so far. Still could get better, but can't keep a constant pace at all, and rubbish on any small incline!

Drove down to driving range, and relieved some stress by smacking 50 balls. Actually felt quite good even though not played since last summer.
After I did some putting on the practice green and fluked some amazing shots, but also began to got a feel for the green and was quite consistent after a bit. Going to have to get a round in soon.

From Home. Through Goostrey, left just as leaving, onto Blackden Ln, then to Over Peover, back to A50 and home along middlewich road.

Went quite well, and tackled the mini hills well today.
