Stupid Knee!!! Right on the knee cap. It's even a pain to drive with!

grr went 200m on the bike and had to come back. Something's not right :(

Longest cycle so far. Started exploring some roads round Swettenham, then ended up in a place called Somerford Booths. From there I took the road through Gleadmoss and came back to the usual route. Batemill lane wasn't quite as fun as usual cos there was a massive head wind so even going down that hill felt like i was barely moving! :/

Overall pretty fun :)

Blue bridge, castle route from school after chemistry exam. Left knee started giving me jabbing pains towards the end :(

Cross Country stuff. Tried some paths which I'd never done before, so had no idea where to go really, but yeah it was good. A good 500m was fighting through brambles and nettles :/ + at least 10 stiles, which was sort of a pain.

Knee = worse :(

Good spin on the roads on bezy's road bike(s). Better route than I've got, cos so much was off main roads. Lots more undulations than I'm used to though.

Dunno why I suggested doing MTB after the road! Started of okayish, but was completely dead later. barely made it up the last hill, and driving home I nearly fell asleep! :/

Nice roaming around today. A few new roads now mapped in the mind.
Planned the beginning of route to lead up to batemill lane which was amazing :D then the rest I mainly went down any road which I'd never been down before. Was quite fun!

3 sprint sections roughly 1min each. The first was pants, but the 2nd and 3rd were brill! Funny cos I got to a straight stretch of road just as tractor came up behind me and I put a gap between us! Driver was a bit pissed, so I slowed and let him pass :)

Knee held out till I was about 7km out. Even then it was only a small nuance. Still, it feels weird and not sure how hard to push it when it flares up.

Went quite well tbh. Really relaxed and didn't go all out like yesterday (only a couple of sections where I was powering it.) Also slowed down till I was almost stopped at 2-3 points cos of my left knee which was giving me some grief. Better than running with it though. Generally felt like a Sunday Jolly ride, which was quite good.

New favourite road: Batemill Ln -> awesome downhill winding section, followed by an uphill stint which I stormed.

Felt in the zone today! New cycling top and sunglasses arrived + lock laces, so I took all 3 out for a test ride.
New route again! Longest so far, but really nice actually. Into HC then out towards chelford, round the big roundabout, and through chelford, then back down seven-sisters lane, along A50 (slightly longer, but a lot safer) and then down townfield lane to finish.

It gave tips on mountain riding, which obviously I didn't do, but I'm awful with any incline, and this really helped! The whole ride just went so smoothly, and pretty damn fast! Only problem was my left knee which I think I jarred running the other day.
