Event: Storm the Trent
Adventure Racing race 6:36:00 [3]
According to simpy's log, this is how long we raced for! Couldn't have asked for better weather for Storm the Trent. Great first race outing for our UNE team. No major mistakes and all minor bobbles were corrected expediently. Felt great until the last hour when the heat defintely got to me. Have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE biking on gravel roads? ;)
Really fun day, and thanks to Bash and 'Bent for putting me up for the night to make my early morning horse braiding call in Palgrave a little less early. 'Bent even got up and made me delicious coffee which I was incredibly grateful for!
