Pick yer poison. Much better conditions than expected. Logie and Zoo killed it. Turbo had a good run too.
I wasn't fast but I'm happy with my run. Feel good after. Couple leg tweaks in the snow but I seem to be fine.
Tommy (one of the tensors) ran in Wills spot. His first run over 12 km. He stuck it out for the 25 in under 3 hrs with a slightly positive split 1:20, 1:38 :-)
He's tough but he won't be walking well for a week.
Not sure on my time but I think I was 1:16,1:14

The good thing about paddling in the rain at 3 deg C is that the spray at 1 deg C is of little concern
Should have warn my pogies. Never felt such hand pain before
This was a real character builder due to poor prep

felt great to be on the water!!! got pretty cold when the spray hit me but fun to be out. Probably be able to get around the ice in little lake today.

About an hour of this was up and down river... good flow no rapids
