Sunday Feb 25 #

12 PM

LI ride. My legs were tired from the run yesterday, but a lot better than I expected.

Looking forward to an easy week!

Saturday Feb 24 #

1 PM

Run (Trail run) 2:26:21 [2] 13.65 mi (10:43 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Speedgoat 5 (Red/Gray/Gre

Long run at Stroud and the random white blazes (which go onto private property but feel very, very used). Beautiful weather and I felt really good outside of the between-the-toes blisters that have made a reappearance. Pretty strong towards the end which was very nice.

Friday Feb 23 #

5 AM

Bike-Trainer 1:00:00 [2] 20.2 mi (2:58 / mi)

MI 30min + LI 30min.

Thursday Feb 22 #

3 PM

Run (Trail run) 55:08 [3] 6.43 mi (8:34 / mi)
shoes: Topo MTN Racer 3 (Mango/Espres

MI 5 x 8min/2min. Cold out today, and on trail this time, albeit a simple loop. I had trouble keeping a consistent pace. I also added an extra rep this time. Combined, those made for a much tougher workout.

Wednesday Feb 21 #

5 AM

Bike-Trainer 1:16:00 [3] 22.66 mi (3:21 / mi)

MI 9x5min/1min. Really good!

Monday Feb 19 #

5 PM

Run 51:24 [2] 5.15 mi (9:59 / mi)
shoes: Topo Ultraventure (grey/green)

Another fun run from home exploring all of the streets in a local neighborhood. Felt really good after getting warmed up.

Sunday Feb 18 #

1 PM

Bike-Trainer 1:00:00 [3] 20.22 mi (2:58 / mi)

MI(low) 30min + LI 30min. Felt great after a day off yesterday.

Friday Feb 16 #

9 AM

Run 2:02:39 [2] 11.02 mi (11:08 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Speedgoat 5 (Red/Gray/Gre

Long run that I cut short due to exhausted legs. I thought they warm up and come around, but that never happened. Very cold and windy today, and the trails were muddy from the melting snow. I started at Kardon Park in Downingtown and ran to the Marsh Creek boat launch and then back.

Thursday Feb 15 #

5 AM

Bike-Trainer 1:00:00 [3] 20.42 mi (2:56 / mi)

MI ride - 8x5min/1min. Felt really good. Bike was a little funny on the trainer, and I had to stop to adjust it a few times.
3 PM

Run 48:13 [3] 5.57 mi (8:39 / mi)
shoes: Topo MTN Racer 3 (Mango/Espres

MI 4x8min/2min. Harder than last time - colder and muddy on the one section of trail that I tried to use.

Wednesday Feb 14 #

Run 37:29 [2] 4.21 mi (8:54 / mi)
shoes: Topo Ultraventure (grey/green)

Run around home. Easy.

Tuesday Feb 13 #

9 AM

Bike-Trainer 1:45:05 [2] 32.01 mi (3:17 / mi)

Random snow day, so a longer ride indoors.

Monday Feb 12 #

5 PM

Run 48:53 [2] 5.08 mi (9:37 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Speedgoat 5 (Red/Gray/Gre

Easy run from home. Incredibly busy over the last two days. I was still sore and tired from Saturday's run and some non-ideal meals over the last 2 days.

Saturday Feb 10 #

12 PM

Run (Trail run) 2:22:44 [2] 12.54 mi (11:23 / mi)
shoes: Topo MTN Racer 3 (Mango/Espres

Long LI Run. Super enjoyable around Harmony Hill, Nature Center, Starr Farm Park, and a little Trestle Bridge. I'm liking this long runs without focusing on distance, just time. I had a really nice time and felt great for the whole thing.
3 PM

Mountain Bike 25:44 [1] 3.19 mi (8:04 / mi)

Family ride around our home. Noah spent a lot of time this summer and fall riding his bike around our yard, and it shows - he is getting to be really good.

Friday Feb 9 #

5 AM

Bike-Trainer 1:00:00 [2] 20.2 mi (2:58 / mi)

MI(low) 30min + LI 30min. Really good ride. Rode at 85-90% for 30 minutes, but kept myself under control.
7 AM

Hike/Trekking 35:20 [1] 1.46 mi (24:12 / mi)

Setting a little o-course around school that I used for an activity for our Wellness Day.
3 PM

Hike/Trekking 23:09 [1] 1.33 mi (17:25 / mi)

Taking down the o-course. Kids seemed to have a really good time.

Thursday Feb 8 #

3 PM

Run (Trail run) 50:01 [3] 5.79 mi (8:38 / mi)
shoes: Topo Ultraventure (grey/green)

MI run - 4X8min/2min. Really enjoyable, but I had trouble keeping within the appropriate pace.

Perfect running weather; a combination of trails and paved path at E Branch Brandywine.

Wednesday Feb 7 #

5 AM

Bike-Trainer 1:00:00 [3] 20.49 mi (2:56 / mi)

8 really tough mid intervals to start my day.

Tuesday Feb 6 #

5 PM

Run 35:49 [2] 4.17 mi (8:35 / mi)
shoes: Topo MTN Racer 3 (Mango/Espres

Easy run around home.

Sunday Feb 4 #

1 PM

Bike-Trainer 2:00:00 [2] 36.98 mi (3:15 / mi)

Beautiful day out but the schedule was tight. This was all I had the time for.

Saturday Feb 3 #

1 PM

Run 1:06:39 [2] 6.81 mi (9:47 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Speedgoat 5 (Red/Gray/Gre

Continuing my recent trend of exploring from home. Both local parks including some trails through the woods into adjacent neighborhoods. Some very steep. Run went longer than I wanted it to.

Friday Feb 2 #

4 PM

Run 50:18 [2] 5.27 mi (9:33 / mi)
shoes: Topo MTN Racer 3 (Mango/Espres

Easy run around home. Felt like I was working a bit harder than this pace. I'll blame it on some tight pants.

Thursday Feb 1 #

5 AM

Bike-Trainer 2:00:00 [2] 36.73 mi (3:16 / mi)

Taking advantage of a late start to a local conference and getting in a long ride. Not too bad, but so sweaty.
