- Ran a half mile to warm up.
- 3-mile, 2-mile, 1-mile progression run. We had the choice of staying at a consistent pace within each set and progressing from one set to the next, OR progressing each mile, starting at half marathon pace in either case.
I had planned to do the second option (getting faster in each mile), starting at 10:00. But when my first mile turned out to be 9:40, I decided to stay consistent within each set. :-P Looking at my splits, it turns out I got slightly faster in each mile (except for mile three in the first set).
