Ran this the way I trained for it- did the first 20-22 miles at a solid 10 min/mile pace, then started slowing down (downside of only training up to about 20 miles for practice runs...) and ran the last 10 miles or so a lot slower. Lots of mud and water from this last week, made my feet wet, but cooled off at the same time, couldn't complain too much. Beautiful scenery, the elevation changes usually weren't too terrible, overall a pretty good first 50k. Definitely not the last.
