Other than the part where I lost my passport between my final two controls and some iffy route decisions, this was a really great day of orienteering for me. I only had three controls where I had to reattack, and I was in the vicinity for all of them. I was never lost (huge for me). The first point that I had to reattack I actually figured out my mistake and then let a guy who was there at the time make me doubt myself. I went on a little bit longer and then went back and corrected. I need to be better about trusting myself.

8 hours on foot is a lot harder than it used to be. I really need to do more running/longer trekking if I want to be able to do longer races again.
