Meant to hit North Trace but left the map (that I actually thought ahead and printed out) at home and ended up on South Trace. Not sure if it was just being out of shape or the heat or what, but I was dying. Somehow I tweaked my left knee, too. There was no actual moment where I noticed hurting it, but it started really bothering me. Mickey crashed 8 mi in and broke his collarbone, so I rode back 2 miles to the highway and flagged down a truck to make sure I rode the right way on the road (thank goodness since I'd guessed wrong, though in my semi-defense if we'd been where I though we were I"d have been right). He offered me a ride back, which I took.

Lunges 20's/12 Back of right thigh felt weird after first set, so skipped second.

Not a good choice with him. Only truly bad section (for him) was between the road and the double track leading to the parking lot -- too many uphill switchbacks and drainages that he wasn't comfortable riding -- and unfortunately that was near the end of our ride. We'll be sticking with Cliff Cave, Bangert, and the CW/ICCP flats if they ever dry out.

Back at it after a month off. Josh was hurting on that last 5-min run, but he hung in there.
