Sunshine Meadows
Eco and I took the gondola up to Sunshine ski base, then a ski lift for little more elevation. From there we followed a gravel pathway for about 8 km or so; it took us past some gorgeous alpine lakes, larches and meadows still full of flowers. I've never been up there in the summer so it was amazing to see what we ski on....Part way through, Eco and I had a little belated birthdays (hers and mine) celebration, with delicious mini-cakes that we brought with us from local French bakery.
