Broken Goat 25k race.
The day started gloomy, a bit cold and rainy but later on the skies cleared and the weather turned hot. The course has been changed this year, with an added elevation as we went over Mt Plewman (last year we run along it at the bottom part). I slowed down for a bit during the first climb to get some calories in, as I couldn't eat much at breakfast. Then I managed to maintain a solid pace. I was not feeling 100%, most likely due to lacking sodium. I ate some pickles at the aid station (km 16) and they somewhat revived me.
Hard to tell how much of an improvement this has been from last year, due to the course changes but I believe my speed and effort was more consistent this time around.
