Quick run between meetings. Half paved, half grass. I had a street map of Oak Ridge so headed out of the hotel for a quick loop. The area turned increasingly sketchy as I went, plus it was getting dark and I didn't bring my headlamp. By the time I ran over the 10th crunched up empty tall-boy in the grassy shoulder of the road I was on, I started picking up the pace. When I made it back to the hotel and looked at my time, I was pretty happy. I haven't run in the 8s for quite some time. Nothing like the fear of bodily harm to improve your training!

Biz trip to Oak Ridge, TN. You can always count on a certain % of trips getting hosed up through no fault of your own and this was one of them. Flight delayed 3 hrs. out of STL, then in Charlotte my bag didn't make it on the plane so I had to wait forever in Knoxville for it to show up. But it showed up, so that was good. Plus, all Enterprise had left was a brand new convertible Mustang which was pretty cool. Anyway, late night treadmill run in small, sad, sauna-like hotel fitness room.

Circuit Training 25:00 [4]

- Jump rope intervals (barely enough room!)
- Pushups 12x3
- 60 mountain climbers w/ gliding discs x3
- hip adduction/abduction w/ black band, both legs

Golly, so hot in this little room! Mega sweaty.

KM level 1 and 2 classes. Felt completely awkward/uncoordinated. I'm not particularly coordinated to begin with. Sort of discouraging but tried to laugh it off.
