good run, gradually speeding up, and working quite hard for last 3k or so. Calf/achilles feeling better again. Hope it continues

Run - river loop (with a little bit cut off).
Mixed feelings with calf/achilles, but generally ok - one odd patch after 35mins or so, and then better. Still not right. but will keep going for a bit.

slow intervals!
5*1k, all in about 3.30, with 200m walk/jog recovery (taking 1.30)

No drive from my legs - probably due to being careful about calf/achilles. Felt ok, arms were better, good to do the set.

Hooray - out for a run, and things feeling not too bad. Achilles seemed ok, a bit tight in the outside of my lower calf - but that is a bit more normal for me - and doesn't scare me anywhere near the same as a sore achilles (probably shouldn't say that as now i'll do something to my calf ...)
Hope to get back into training now, and finally start to get it past the 4-5hrs a week mark - and yes I've said that before ...
