Looks like IronMan training to me.Sure are putting in some time out there.Hope it goes well for you at the half i.
Rogaine the week before should put paid to that idea unfortunately... thanks.
They're harder than 24hr jobbies!!
In a 24 you (well, I) get to sleep all night and just run the daylight. Much less demanding than busting a boiler to try and beat the birthday boy duo of Paul "Rogaine" Williams and Ricky "Enduro-boy" Thackray.
Trust me, I'll be exhausted and sore after the 12hr, but will do S.F.A all week other than gentle recovery stuff and a bucket-load, make that a dump-truck load, of eating!
I backed up a week after NSW 24hr Champs for Forster Half. I made sure to do a few light training sessions in the week leading up to the half. I had no problems until i got of the bike, the run was painful. A lot of muscle soreness. Although this was all part of my build up to Ironman WA that year.
