very nice plan.. lucky us, you did not delivered.. i really liked your route..i think was the fastest as plan- forget about delivery.. good fun run ...
Thanks Nick, I'll get you at one of these Thomass' eventually!
Did you guys go from 3 to A? Along the road? I never saw any of you until 9.
:) NIce plan, but you cannot do it!
Lines are brocken afte 3 and 11, so you can make box only after those two CPs.
there are even punctual line to the boxes from CP3 and 11!
So, from Cp10 you should go to Cp11 b/c they connected by the line, which mean to take in this order.
In your case, it is better to run to Cp10, box Cp14 and Cp9 in a way to finish ;)
Patrick, it was a great race by you, but I am not sure if it will be fair to everyone to count it. Rules are rules.
I agree, rules are rules and I was following them.
We were told during the briefing we could enter and exit the box at any point during the course.
Well, he did do the course in the order prescribed (as in after 10, he went back to 11)... seems fair if the rules are you have to do them in order except to got out to the box (as Pat said above). But there are those dashes from 3 to the box and 11 to the box that are trying to lead you into doing it that way...
Patrick is Ok - by my books.. it was mentioned before start at briefing, that you can do the box anytime.. it was even suggested -as a joke- to do it right after start.. in a normal 'thomass' event would be like Igor said , but yesterday at briefing was told something different.. so Patrick should be OK
Thanks Nick, it was your comment from the Raid the Hammer that sticks with me, 'always listen to the pre-race briefing'!
Sudden - You don't wanna even know how we roll Down Under
I don't sure but I am sure I will see an Aussie role tomorrow at the first fairway.
good thing that you listened, good that you even found a better route then most of us did
