This must be a record for the amount of time that luggage has been lost and then found. Hopefully they have washed all of your race clothes...if not, you may just want to throw the whole bag out and start over!

That's kind of funny. One of the items they had used to describe the contents of my bag was wet spandex tights/shorts. I was cringing at that point as I can only imagine how bad that bag smells now.

oh well at least you can probably be sure that not too many people were rooting around in there looking for stuff to take.....poor Pixie I hope she isn't around when you open that sucker up.

Yikes. That happened a few years ago to a national team orienteer travelling from Canada to Europe right after a race. I think it was a month before he got his stinky race clothes back and apparently SportSuds got the smell out. Good luck with it.

My Bike was 'confiscated/quarantined' at Pearson Int'l after Explore Sweden and I had a lot of nasty clothes and gear in my bike box.

They made me pay about $85 for some local company that has the purification (cleaning) contract. I was pissed, then when I picked up my stuff two weeks later my bike, shoes, gear , clothes etc. were like brand new ... it was unbelievable.... but you should have seen the NASTY looks I got from the staff who had to perform the cleansing ritual.
