Discussion: US Team

Actually, I would go further and say that it is very sad to see the state of the US Team now, in particular because things looked very, very promising just a couple of years ago, when I was imagining a young and competitive team of Kenny, Sergei, Leif, John F, Ross, Erin S, Mike Sandström fighting for WOC spots for years to come... Meanwhile, the average age of the US WOC team is set to be well over 30 yet again. On the other hand, it will be cool to see some new faces on the team this year, as both you and Ross have good chances to make your debuts!

The crowd has definitely thinned this year. John F's disappeared off into college and Erin S & Mike S aren't getting John's organizational push to get to as many events.

Erin S is team trialing and could make it, although I think his O' practice has been very light recently.

Leif is also coming, and if he's in shape he's also got a very good shot at going to Czech.

So it's not a free ride for us old folks :) but unfortunately it's easier than it should be.
