Nadim, I can only imagine all the hours you spent on the US Champs! I am in awe at how well everything went. You rocked! Yeah, I know, we all rocked!
What a difference a week makes. I am so happy that we didn't have this raw weather that we had today.
I am with you on the cold, though right now, I am refusing to accept that I am sick. Maybe after I run with Sarah in the morning, then I'll give in the rest of the way.
Get some rest. Oh, right, getting the house on the market is next. No rest time there.
We predicted he'd get sick. Just took a few days longer than expected.
It's very common to get sick after a big event, so I'm not surprised you're a bit under the weather, too, Valerie. You guys take care!
And, I'm totally with you re. the weather. How miserable would Friday have been??
Thanks Valerie and Peggy! It was a bit surprising to me how well things went too. Leading up to and over the weekend we had both good and bad luck that we respectively took advantage of and found ways to get by. I'm happy the events seemed smooth to people and happy that it's about over. I'll rest up and then try to get back in shape. The house shopping and preparation to move should be fun for a change.
Speaking of lucking out - the only control which went missing all weekend was 135 on Day 2. But since there were two controls at this location, I didn't actually realize it until a couple of days later. How lucky is that?!
