write-up and execution by the team on a challenging course Pete. Makes me wish I had raced it.

Well written Phatty! I feel like I now have a better picture of what was happening out there while I watched dots all night. Just how many different versions of snow pants did you come up with anyway?:)

What a great morning read with my coffee! Great racing too. You really bring home what it's like to be pushing for the win with such narrow margins ln the top 4.
Classy writeup as well.

Congrats Pete! Snowpants arrived at the south shore at CP16 50 minutes before you. But they took a lot of time to cross (Ben has a kryptonite afterall and it is swimming). They also changed both before and after swimming. So the time difference between when you and snowpants started to CP17 once on the south shore again after CP16 swim #2 was a mere 16 minutes.

Lakes with names Spider and 3-legged means a lot of bays. Bummer about the error en route to the finish.

It was fun watching the top teams attack CP16. That (and reading this report) made me want to try a 24 hour race again. But those fast TAs and red lining pace days are over for me.

Congrats again!

Great (and classy) recap; I expect nothing less.

Congrats on a great result and burying Hansel enough to join me for a spring marathon!

Great writeup indeed. And Phats, I wish I could say that the stink you caught wafting from me only happened while racing...

I finally have time to read some race reports and I knew yours would not disappoint! Gripping description of what it felt like to be embroiled in the battle at the front of this race - awesome. Congrats to all of you on a great race!
