Discussion: beer chase

Too bad, not long enough ago for what Vic wants, I don't think.

I look pretty awful. Do you have a year on that? I'd guess mid-late 1980s--maybe 1985--at one of those beer chases at Quantico when we didn't have any food afterwards.

I don't have a year, but Maggie Pruden is in one of the pictures, just barely walking. So, yea, I would guess 1985 or 1986.

And you don't look awful! I was just fascinated by the size of that beer can, since I know you're not a big beer drinker.

Holy cow! What is that, a half keg? A whole keg?

At one early Beer chase, and it's a good bet this one is from that one, we didn't yet have a potluck lunch immediately following, and I started driving home. The Chase was on Quantico MB; I got as far as the Triangle McDonalds, where I wisely stopped to eat and sit for a few hours.

I think that was this one. I remember this as being at some rather remote spot on the base, and there was no food. A wise decision to stop and eat.
