I've got the non-adhesive kind. It was a huge tube from Amazon for $6. I might order the adhesive kind just to get the smaller tube for my workout bag.

Could it be a battery issue?

Just replaced the battery, but I'd been considering some gel. I've read that guys blog many times (any time I'm thinking about buying a watch/computer) but had not seen that post.
