Loree forest in rain and fog while Bash tested the o-course. Fairly firm snow up top, but every time I took one of the trails down it was a slow slush and clay mud fest that turned me around.
(75 min) Bash took AD, so I hiked the Gentlemandog home. He had a tricky time on the icy luge run but wisely bushwhacked up the steep hill with some help. Other than that he can still amble the 3.5km, and decided to march up Thinker’s Hill for a break with a view.

Legs felt sprightly for the first time in a while. AD ran in with me, and even he found the icy luge run tricky. I use the ropes I strung, but it’s still a challenge.

Ran to Albion to try and find runnable quiet roads. Lumpy ice, some dry road and soft snow, slush and mud on the return. Legs were feeling yesterday’s run.
Nice sunny day, but trails still tough. I was pretty tired after. I’m hoping all these tough kms will count extra. CBSR is going to hurt!
