shoes: bright pink

A little warmer this week; a lot more people, but not as many as anticipated for next week. Warm up was strange - couldn't get much interest in more than 50m at a time, though it did the trick as far as breathing goes which is the aim. Chatted before and after with Nic and Andrew.

Started out a bit faster than I thought I usually do and was a bit worried but all good when I got to the other side of the green square, and downhill was beckoning.

Start-steps Rainforest walk - 10:02
Steps - cone -7:26 (17:28) [Virtually identical to last week]
Cone - steps Rainforest Walk -6:47 (24:16) [huge improvement on last week]
Steps - Finish - 11:37 (35:53) [terrible drop in pace]

Very consistent, though familiarity with course isn't paying dividends. Not slippery this week, so no excuses. slight detour at underpass due to construction but not a problem. rockman out doing his magic for "Magic". Great crew. Enjoy the run - just need to work harder.

Very enjoyable class but had to modify a couple of arm moves - right elbow a bit tender after a week of heavy arm weights. Then when I dropped weights L shoulder seemed unhappy. Picked up weights and all good.

Quite feeling the aftereffects of yesterday's massage - primarily between the shoulder blades, so that is good.

walking 19:00 [1]

Late afternoon stroll - home - PO box - rels - home. Suspect rockman was just a slow down the Herbert face. Was a bit concerned that both knees and especially left ankle were quite sore walking on a slight rounded surface. Then I realised I'd put my old joggers on with my old orthotics in them and that is a big reminder NOT to do that. OK in garden, not for any longer than that.

Her best yet class - loved the last 3 person activity - 1 at each end of room doing set exercise, third doing 3 shuttle runs and tips for changeover. Rest of time quite chaotic but very tough.

Fast walk to letter box and pharmacy before impending storm - which may not impend after all. While I was away rockman raised the deck panels. Honestly you can't leave him for a minute!!!

Great class focussing on legs. Burned them out then did long run then back for a rest of back then out for an extra long run then back for last of legs. Very pleased to be able to be last in from the first long run then first out for the second long run and did the extra section as I made the cut.

Lovely day to be outside - lots of pulling, reaching, digging and planting.
