Skate Ski (Kingdom Valley) 45:00 [2] 6.1 km (7:23 / km) +265m 6:04 / km
Didn't seem like a holiday today; missed the ball drop by an hour or so last night. Had a crew working on the house and garage door, trying to catch up for lost time.
Groomed some yesterday, but mainly getting equipment sorted out and snow tires installed on my car. Finished grooming most everything today, and found snow is setting nicely. Both Bombi and snowmobile running well, although Bombi is a bit quirky and has an exhaust manifold cracked in 3 places.
Ed was over checking gear and finishing the bulletin for the ski-o races Jan 19-21. Should be out with on-line registration shortly.
After grooming today, skated the lower trails. Didn't touch the upper ones yesterday so they were too soft. They all need another grooming to dress the top surface. Temp was dropping fast into the mid-teens as it got dark. Skis ran really well with great glide on private stock LF5.
