Freestyle Audio Soundwave 2GB MP3 Player

Unsleek, particularly the user interface, but waterproof is a pretty killer feature. There are other options, including waterproof cases for more popular players, but this is the cheapest one I found when I comparison-shopped.

lap swimming is pretty boring - it would be cool to listen to podcasts. but it looks ungainly, do you just strap it to your arm. . . .?

I attach it to the strap of my goggles, actually. Probably makes me look like a forerunner to the Borg.

I'm not sure it would work quite so well for me for lap swimming, at least not front crawl. I tried a bit of that last workout and the constant changes in head position and higher speed of water rushing by made it harder than usual to hear what I was listening to without cranking the volume higher than I consider comfortable.
