It was warm out - 80+F. There were a few bugs that I might have swallowed. Legs felt tired initially but warmed up fine and it felt good to get moving, despite the heat. Need to hydrate! Our lab AC hasn't been working last few days so I was sweating all day today.

Harriman Middle Course training. I think Greg A set this course a while ago as part of training camp. I couldn't get into it mentally or physically this morning. Kept sliding on fluffy leaves and stopping a lot. Did I forget how to orienteer here? wth. Still good to be training here and I enjoyed being out in the forest.

Niels kindly offered to set out a course out for Lina and myself at the TBV Nature Reserve. What fantastic terrain! So fast yet interesting, and you must keep your compass in check. Loved it.
Today was a practice of concentration and grit. I was still not feeling too well and my stomach kept distracting me but I kept pushing myself. Saw Lina coming out of #2 and thought she would catch me, esp. since I wobbled #4 and #6. I wish I could run so much faster in this terrain. I wanted to fly.
