Snowshoe Raid
Back at it again with Tim on a super snowy day...it did not stop snowing the whole race and it is still snowing now (Sunday morning)! We planned a route to cover a lot of ground but it quickly became apparent that we were going to need to change our plan as the snow was deep and it took quite a while to climb straight up to escarpment. Once on top, we got a 150 pt. control and then moved down into the matrix. For the rest of the way, we were pretty much on our own. We were running late (or just on time) on the way back and had to pick it up for the last haul from the aid station to the finish...Tim kept urging be on but alas, we were 5 seconds late which cost us 30 points and a place. Still, was a great day and felt pretty good out there.
