Ran with a map tonight. First time in a long while that I have run with one. Boy it is hard to read a 1:15,000 scale map.
Today was just an easy run. I didn't want to aggevate my thigh.

Rt 175 + Severn road.

It is getting dark now quicker. It was dusk and cool by the time I got home (45 deg). I decided to still run outside. It was my first cooler run outside. Wore long sleeve shirt and short. First long sleeves. It was cool starting but comfortable for most of the run. As the temperature dropped I was getting a little cool by the end.
My left quad is still bothering me. First mention of it in the logs here. It has been sore, I think I strained something running on Friday (fast mile on the treadmill. Hopefully it will be ok by Friday. It only bothers me during the run so it isn't that bad.
I am getting faster. Running form (except injury) is really helping.
Running easier and still getting faster.

Mapping at new area by McKeldin.
After all the rain, the river still wasn't high so I could cross without getting wet. Circled the north part of the map. Got slowed down with a new rocky section. Not that much but I wasn't expecting it. Still one more large spur to do on the north part.

10K loop. I haven't run this in awhile. It was nice out and I neeeded to get some extra distance in so went for it. Felt pretty good. I couldn't find my watch so had to wear a normal watch and keep track of my pace.

The first mile is accurate, the next three are estimated based on my
4 mile time. The 8 min one is longer than a mile. The last mile I picked
the pace up some.

Got home late and it was raining so I went to the treadmill in the basement. Planned to do just 4 but the movie on TV I was watching wasn't over so I kept going. Did six and felt it in the last mile.
