Day 2. My focus level was around zero. I simply didn't want to look at my map or compass enough to navigate at a fast pace. It wasn't like I made big mistakes, but it was rough. A significant portion of the map was even the same as yesterday.

First race of the Karst Cup. Felt pretty energetic, and I had a very clean race. I started to be focus after about an hour, but I think I held it together without too much lost time.

A course around a large hill. Took one route which wasn't fast, but an understandable choice, and had trouble on a couple of controls because I missed seeing some trails. Other than that, very good. The SI boxes aren't synced, so I'm unsure if the time is correct. This is true of the post two days as well. Using Damian's theory, I was actually 38:29. The boxes are of by a fair amount.

I'm very grateful for the experience of running on thus map because it was super hard and slow, but I also didn't like it for the same reason. It was essentially three giant marshes and a big swath of medium and dark green. I do feel I gained a lot by training here, though.

A simple course where the idea was to pay attention to your compass. Unfortunately, I was disagreeing with my compass for much of it, and I made one very stupid mistake because I failed to orient my map. The afternoon was better, though.
