Its a beautiful spring day. The sun is out and blue sky. So despite saying to myself I'd have a rest day after some knocks yesterday (most notably some swelling on my right knee, need to keep an eye on that), I decided to go on a little exploring run.
Went out towards Bells then at the big field where footpaths have crossroads, I went left towards the Crown. Then along the main road, up to the Bells (cobbles are a bitch!), down the little road at the back of the pub up to Free Green Lane. Then I saw a little footpath on the right, so went down there. I ended up going through someone's garden which was a footpath honest. This brought me back over the little stream into the usual field to join back up with regular route home.

Winnington vs Macclesfield
Won 17-14!!!
Sooo happy! I don't even care if it was a dubious 2nd try. Felt like my best game of the season. Got some really good tackles in and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I thought maybe Macclesfield may have matured, but most of the players were bigheaded arseholes, and plenty of the parents were foul mouthed dicks too!
